The Midwife of Auschwitz

This is a gripping story that I had never known could have happened. It is an important story because people need to know what occurred with the birth of babies in the Nazi death camps. Just when the reader thinks they have read so many stories about the atrocities committed by the Nazis, a new aspect of their cruel and humane actions is brought to horrific light in this book. The characters are well drawn and the reader begins to hope for their survival as they negotiate life’s events in one of the nmost cruel eras in history. I highly recommend this book for the mesmerizing & heartwrenching journey the reader will experience.
