5 things to try on the new Kindle Colorsoft
The first color Kindle is available now.
For the first time, the delight of color is available on Kindle thanks to the brand-new Kindle Colorsoft. High contrast, quick page turns, an auto-adjusting front light, weeks of battery life, and eye-friendly color are all features that users adore about the Kindle today. You may now view book photographs and images in color, explore covers in color in your Kindle Library or Store, and apply color highlights for quick searches in the future.                          Here are five things to try that can make your reading experience on Kindle Colorsoft even richer:
1.
Display color covers as your lock screen
While the Kindle Colorsoft is off or charging, you can modify the device’s lock screen in Settings to display the book you’re currently reading. You can appreciate a vibrant cover on your bedside table or show off what you’re reading while you’re on the run.
2.
Highlight in color
You’re sure to find a memorable remark or thought that you’ll want to go back to, whether you’re reading a thriller, romance, nonfiction, or anything else. In your annotation notebook, you may now filter your highlights by color and highlight text in yellow, pink, blue, or orange.
3.
Switch between color style
Whether it’s altering the layout, brightness, or font size, Kindle owners adore being able to personalize their reading experience. We’re launching a new setting for Kindle Colorsoft that lets you adjust the color scheme. Depending on the type of content you’re reading, where you’re reading it, or simply to customize the display to your preference, select Standard or Vivid under Settings.
4.
Explore maps, graphics, and photographs in color Highlight
Color diagrams, maps, and pictures that offer additional information about a subject are common in science, history, and general nonfiction books. Simply pinch and zoom on the screen of your Kindle Colorsoft to get close to an image’s details. Check it out on a map in a fantasy book or travel guide.
5.
Read color comics and other illustrated books.
A subscription to Kindle Unlimited or Comixology Unlimited unlocks access to thousands of comics on Kindle devices.
Comixology’s Guided View, available for Kindle Colorsoft, lets you read a single panel or an entire page of a comic to make the most of every moment in the narrative. Double tapping any panel in supported titles will launch the full-screen guided view; swiping left or right will take you to the previous or next panel.
